What this site collects

Last updated October 14, 2026. This page covers w3s.si, its modules and your W3S account, operated by Web3 Services, LLC.

What you send us

The waitlist on the home page asks for your email address and which of four descriptions fits you (law student, new lawyer, practicing lawyer, something else). We use it to write to you when the W3S app opens. The survey asks for your name, your email address, an optional message, and how much each system matters to your firm. Your answers stay in your own browser until you press send. The referral form asks for your name, email, phone, state and a description of your issue. The overflow form asks for a contact name, firm name, email, phone, state and the kinds of inquiries the firm passes along.

We use what you send to reply to you and to decide what to build. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.

Your account

When you sign in to a module we ask for your email address and send a one-time link to it; there is no password. Signing in creates an account holding that address and, if you add them, your name, organization, phone and mailing address, which Records Request puts on your letters. If you tell us what brought you to W3S, we keep that choice to show you the right steps. Signing in sets one cookie, w3s_session, which keeps you signed in across the modules for thirty days; it holds an account number and a signature, nothing else, and is the only cookie this site sets. If you tell us you are a lawyer we also hold your state of admission and bar number, and a note of who checked them against the bar's public roster and when.

Paying

Payment is taken by Stripe on Stripe's own pages. We never see your card number. Stripe sends us a customer number, what you bought, and whether a subscription is active, past due or cancelled, and we keep those with your account. Every billable step a module takes (a request filed, for example) is recorded against your account with the date and a reference, so you and we can see what was used.

What the modules keep

Each module keeps what it needs to do its job. Records Request keeps what you tell it about the records you want, the letters it drafts and you approve, the replies and documents agencies send to the tracked address it gives your request, and the dates it computes from them. Practice Setup keeps the answers to its sixteen questions as one firm profile, with a log of each change, and the attorney page, contact messages and client chat it runs for the firm. Evictions keeps the subscribing firm's profile and the facts, notices and pleadings the firm enters and generates. Every module keeps an append-only, time-stamped record of what was drafted, approved, sent and received. Text you give a module may be sent to a language model to draft or sort it; documents that identify a person are not sent to a model without your approval.

What we do not do

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies, records no sessions beyond the sign-in cookie described above, and loads no fonts or scripts from advertising networks. The demonstrations run in your browser on invented data. We do not sell what you give us and do not use it for advertising.

Who processes it

Forms are received by a W3S service running on Google Cloud and stored there. No outside form, email or marketing service handles them. When a firm signs up for the overflow feed, a notice with the firm's contact details is also posted to a private W3S channel that we operate. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which sees your network address as any web host does.

Accounts and modules run on Cloudflare's Workers, D1 and R2 services in the United States. Sign-in links are sent through Resend, an email service, which sees your address and the link. Payments are processed by Stripe under its own privacy policy. Language-model drafting uses Anthropic's API, which does not train on what is sent. Inbound mail to a Records Request tracked address is received by Cloudflare Email Routing.

Referrals

If you use the referral form, we share what you wrote with a lawyer in the referral network so they can contact you. Sending the form does not create an attorney-client relationship with anyone.

Keeping and deleting

We keep what you send for as long as we need it to reply to you and to follow up, and we delete it when you ask. An account and its module records are kept while the account is open and deleted when you close it, except the record of what you paid for, which we must keep. To find out what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, write to david@w3s.si.

Children

This site is written for lawyers and law firms. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
