Services
One job in the law, start to finish.
Each W3S service is software that takes one kind of legal work all the way through: intake in your own words, drafting, sending, tracking, follow-up, until the work is done. It stops and asks before anything leaves. One subscription, $100 a seat a month, opens every service. These are the first; more are on the way.
Records Request
Public records requests, drafted from what you want to know, sent, tracked and followed up until the records arrive.
Say what you are trying to find out. The module works out which agency holds it and which law applies, drafts the request from that state's template with your words in it, and sends it once you approve. Replies come to a tracked address, deadlines are counted in the agency's own business days, and when a date passes the one step that is due is drafted for your yes: a follow-up, a fee reply, a narrowing, an appeal from a template.
What it costs
Free to draft. Filing uses the W3S subscription: ten requests a month per seat, follow-ups included, then $5 a request. Agency fees are yours and are shown before you approve.
What it will not do
- No advice on which exemption applies to your request
- No merits appeals drafted for you
- No litigation; a lawyer referral instead, with no referral fee
W3S is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. Requests go out in your own name. Where a denial needs a lawyer, the service says so and stops.
Evictions
Residential eviction notices, complaints and judgments generated under your firm's name, with every deadline computed, and an audit of the other side's papers, for lawyers and law firms.
The firm creates a profile: firm and lawyer name, bar number, address, e-filing identity. A landlord's facts go in; the module selects the termination notice the facts support, computes the notice period, service and filing windows in that state's rules, and generates the notice packet, the court complaint, the declarations and the judgment in the court's required form, every one captioned and signed for the firm. On the tenant side, the firm uploads the landlord's notice, proof of service and complaint; the module checks them against the same rules, drafts the answer, and drafts the attorney-fee statement when the tenant prevails. The landlord side gets the same check before serving and the fee objection after a loss. The lawyer reviews, signs, files under the firm's own login and appears. Oregon first; each state gets its own rules file.
What it costs
Uses the W3S subscription: ten document sets a month per seat (a notice packet, a complaint, an audit or a fee statement each count as one), then $15 a set. Flat and never a share of fees. Technical support only; every question about a matter goes to the subscribing firm.
What it will not do
- Not sold to landlords directly
- No W3S help desk answering which notice to serve
- No referral or matching of firms
Software for licensed lawyers. The subscribing firm reviews, signs, files and appears; W3S never does, and never speaks to a landlord or a tenant about a matter.
Practice Setup
Email, a website you design as you like, intake from people who find you, and a client chat, set up step by step for a new practice.
The same start sequence as the W3S app, on the web: sixteen questions, each answered or skipped, every answer kept in one firm profile. Then the steps a new practice needs, each one done for you where it can be and verified where it cannot: a domain, email on it, an attorney page, a contact form that reaches you, a confidential chat where clients talk about their cases, and a key to run anything sensitive on a confidential machine. A lawyer with a practice already takes only what they want.
What it costs
Inside the W3S subscription. Setup, the attorney page, intake and client chat are included; a domain registration or a mailbox is billed at cost on the same invoice, shown before you approve it.
What it will not do
- No legal advice to your clients through the chat; it is your chat
- No account created in your name without you at the keyboard
- No lock-in: the domain, the site files and the mailbox move with you
Software and setup help for licensed lawyers. The sites and the mailbox are yours, on your own domain; W3S holds no key it does not need.
Web Capture
A court-ready record of a web page as it was served: every file it loaded, hashed, signed and timestamped in Bitcoin.
Give the address and a note about the matter. W3S loads the page in its own browser and keeps everything it served, byte for byte, as a WARC and a HAR, with a screenshot, a PDF and the page as a single file. The record is hashed, signed by W3S and by you, timestamped by two independent timestamp authorities, and anchored in the Bitcoin blockchain. Anyone you give the link to can check every part with free tools.
What it costs
Included in the W3S subscription: 50 captures a month per seat.
What it will not do
- No capture of pages behind a login (the Mac and Android app does that, in your own browser)
- No getting around a site's bot protection or a CAPTCHA
- No opinion on admissibility
W3S is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. A capture records what a public page served to W3S's browser; whether and how it is admitted is for you and the court.
How every service works
One account
You sign in with a link we email you; there is no password. The same account works in every service, and later in the W3S app.
One subscription
$100 per seat per month opens every service. Each seat includes a monthly allowance in each service; use beyond it is billed per unit on the month's invoice, and you see the price before you approve the step. Cancel from your account in one click.
You approve every send
The service drafts; you read it and say yes. Each approval is recorded, and every request, reply and deadline is kept in a tamper-evident record you can export.
Lawyer-only services
Some work is the practice of law. Those services are sold to licensed lawyers and law firms, who verify their bar admission once, and every document goes out under the firm's name.
Who processes what
W3S services run on Cloudflare, in the United States. What each one stores is set out in the privacy page; the rules of use are in the terms.
Not a law firm
W3S is software from Web3 Services, LLC. It does not give legal advice and no attorney-client relationship is formed by using it. Where a service reaches a line only a lawyer can cross, it says so and stops.
And the W3S app
For new lawyers and law students: a desktop app that walks you through opening a practice and puts superintelligence to work on terms you set. Not released yet. See the films and join the waitlist, or tell us what to build.
